Between all three of my productions, meaning the poster, magazine and the trailer, I want them all too have obvious links. Meaning, I will be careful what I include within each of the documents.
Poster - The poster will contain a horror picture preferably at either a close up or a medium close up, I will add effects using photoshop to emphasise the horror genre. It will stick to the 3 colour rule which will also link into the magazine, it will contain red as I want there to be connotations of blood and death involved. The poster will also use the font Istillknow from dafont.com for the title of the film "The Retribution."
Magazine - The magazine will contain 3 primary colours being black, red and white. I have chosen these colours purposely as I want the black to represent the darkness within the film that the cover is going to be representing and the red is chosen to represent blood and death, the white has been chosen as a contrast to the colours, not only to break up the colour use within both the magazine and the poster but I always want to emphasise to lack of purity within this trailer, as it is predominantly about murder and possession. The magazine will also contain the title of the film used in the same font as is used on the poster, the possessed girl will also appear on the front of the magazine, at a medium close up, I want it to show how she is obviously possessed.
Trailer - The trailer should contain the same star as is used on the magazine and the poster. The trailer is going to surround the narrative that she has been possessed and she is getting her revenge on the girls for making her feel like such an outsider, this will be conveyed on the poster and magazine as she is going to positioned alone on the two media productions. The same tagline should appear on all three documents also, to draw clear connections between all three and make it obvious that they are the same film.
